and the National Council of La Raza (http://nclr.org/). Examine the websites of these associations to learn their goals and what programs they support and strategies
they use to encourage inclusion and acceptance, raise consciousness, and foster self-awareness for individuals. Review the histories of the organizations and the
current issues or subjects featured in the websites. Write a one-to-two page APA style paper (at about 300-600 words, double-spaced) in which you describe how
secondary groups (large organizations) are working to promote social (racial/ethnic) harmony in the United States. Include specific references to the websites noted
above. Incorporate sociological terms in your essay. (note: No title page or cover sheet is required. Papers that are not properly cited according to APA style
standards (that is include your in-text source citations and references on the reference page) will not receive credit and may be considered as plagiarized work.).
Also, if you use any other writing style format other than what is required for this course (i.e., MLA) your paper will not receive credit. If you are in doubt please
